Biography

Alyaqut The Obelisk Inventor
　　　　　　Mate of Zemljano Dete - Name Meaning: Sapphire
　　　
One of a pair, Alyaqut was one of the first Obelisk to emerge from deep within the earth, alongside his friend and soon to be mate Zemljano Dete. Shortly after emerging, the pair ran into Umhlaba and Wrath, two dragons who had aided greatly in the dig to unearth the Obelisk. They offered the duo a place within their clan, and they agreed, eager to see the world they had been birthed into. Soon after they set up a home base within the Elliptical clan, the two left their new home to explore their world in more depth, starting with fire and moving to the other flights, hungry for knowledge and eager to learn, and protect.

Alyaqut is a curious and kind dragon, energetic in nature and eager to learn. He enjoys flying fast and far, and often challenges his mate to flying contests, much to her disgruntlement. He has both an affinity with mechanics and with getting himself in trouble, even in seemingly calm situations, and it's his mates job of dragging him out of it. It also doesent help that his peacock markings glow in the dark a bright toxic green, terrifying those who don't know he's there and making them think that something with many large, bright eyes is peering out at them from the darkness. Either way, wherever Alyaqut goes, chaos is sure to follow.

When sleeping his stone form is a mix of tugtupite, chkalovite and analcine stone. Under UV light he glows a multitude of different colours (image below his desc).

His first name when he emerged from the earth was Elation. Though the name is rarely used now, he still responds to and is proud of it.
Gained as a reward during the eighth flight rising anniversary for participating in the Dustcarve Dig. Was a woken from a Dormant Obelisk Statue.
