» N A M E «
Ever since Daiki was young, she had always been interested in making things. She was the type who was known for being a little esctatic about doing small things like bend twigs together or recommend a new type of obviously popular, latest technology. She just wanted to be there, and likely be something greater, from a young age. As she grew older, though, she realized that she wanted to make a difference as well. There was something about being innovative and creative, that would drive dragons into a better society that kept her studying. Because of it, she became self-educated, reading as many books and information as she could. She soaked in everything, but Daiki knew that the true test came with experience.trait | trait | trait ━━━◇━━━

Her first experience, for the lack of better words, did not go well. It was met with a fair share of failiures, and in all honesty, Daiki felt her spirits drain with every failed attempt at creating ideas. Afterall, how could she change Dragonkind for the better if she couldn't think of anything to make it so great? She spent countless hours studying what they already had. Admittedly, the Mirror felt like it was everything. She couldn't figure out what was missing. At least, until she took a step back from the complexity and into the basics. Wings. Wings were pretty fast. Every dragon used them. Unless it was a pretty short distance, they were your best bet for transportation. But Daiki wondered, if it was just for a moment, if wings had any weaknesses. It didn't take time for her to realize: they did. |
| For starters, wings had muscles. They tore easily, especially on the membrane. In addition, they got tired. Rest was required for long trips. And even though dragons are some of the fastest creatures alive, Daiki knew they were supseptible to being slow. So she had to fix it, and she had an idea how. She would create something that could suspend multiple dragons in the air. It was have to weigh a lot, and obviously be made of material that can last for years longer and be swift. She came with the idea to Aklys, who shook it off and said it was impossible. Truthfully, it did hurt to hear from her mentor, but she realized soon enough that she could still shoot for it herself. Even though Aklys kept a close eye, she worked on the project in secret. Now, her first prototype was nearly complete... |
