komain was among the first obelisks to awaken beneath the shattered plains. first discovered by the dragonhome preservation guild, many of those first generation obelisks were taken into the ranks partly as a form of scientific curiosity. for a group dedicated to researching the history and nature of of the earth flight, dragons shaped directly by the hands of the earthshaker are endlessly fascinating. komain was a born guard dog. he spent much of his time post-awakening with his partner, ruina. the pair were both awkaward, nervous, eager to make good impressions among the draconic populace. where ruina tried to hide those nerves with overconfidence and chatter, komain grew quiet, solemn, intimidating. a stone shadow to her brilliance. but beneath that hard exterior komain remained a dragon with an inherent sense of wonder. every experience was a new joy. from the sun itself, warm and blazing in the sky, down to the smallest of bugs that crawl through the dust, everything was beautiful, every moment one to be savored.
