Bartholomew has always been the life of the party with his silver-tongue and keen wit. He often deflects with humor and always tries to lighten the mood. He is easily likeable, but those who are not fond of Bartholomew may say that he's obnoxious or foolish. They're wrong of course. But he's become pretty to others making these assumptions about him, and often uses these assumptions to his advantage by playing the fool to disarm others. He enjoys time with his family, entertaining a crowd, and cozy nights with Freya. Bartholomew was a traveling tradesman for many years before he met Freya, and ultimately settled down in Cosmos Crypta after finally winning the Skydancer over. He occasionally still travels outside of the clan to collect goods, make connections, and earn revenue for the clan. But he rarely goes on such grand adventures as he once did. These days he likes to run his shop in Aurora Square, and spend time with his family and friends. When his and Freya's children were hatchlings, it was Bartholomew who assumed the main role of caretaker. He never minded this however, as it was what Freya and him has planned, and he had a natural aptitude for fatherhood. Although Freya and Bartholomew might seem like an odd pair from the outside, Bartholomew thinks they balance each other out perfectly, and he adores her and his children. Bartholomew always has an outrageous story to tell from his traveling days. He’s never been much of a fighter, but he often hangs around the training grounds when things aren’t busy at his shop. He likes to chat with his friend, Charles, and regale stories of his youth to the younger dragons training there. |
