Agate is the Military councilmen to this clan, he is rough around the edges and no where near fit for this title by mosts standards.
However he wears his title with pride, doing his best to run this clan along side the love of his life.
His word is law. Every dragon treats him with the utmost respect.

Agate hatched in the shifting expanse with no parents in sight, because of this he grew to become an amazing hunter, being able to track prey for miles and chase them down quickly.
He was quite the loner type, wandering the shifting expanse doing nothing much but eating and sleeping, leading an uneventful life seemed to please him, having no care or responsibility, no leader nor boss, he did as he pleased when he pleased.

In doing so he felt empty, since he doesn't put forth much effort he never found his charge and was quite bothered by this, always having this strange feeling, as if you've forgotten something important but cannot remember what it was, in distress he forced himself to sleep to get rid of the feeling, under one of the large mechanical spires he slept in its shade.

He awoke some time later and to his surprise a beautiful guardian was near him, reading various tomes and books, mesmerized by her grace he couldn't think of anything to say, and just stared, of course she noticed this giving him a pleasant smile, Agate felt the emptiness inside him disappear and spark a feeling of calmness, happiness and inspiration as soon as he set eyes on her, feeling the deep connection he knew she was his charge, but did not speak of this, the two began to talk, learning they have similar interests, the two made a pact to continue to visit each other at least once a week, meeting at that same spot, this continued for a few months before the female Guardian Azurite proposed they become mates, Agate acted nonchalant but on the inside he was overjoyed.

Agate was very loyal to the Stormcatcher, but his love for his mate Azurite overcame his loyalty to his deity, and with a lot of convincing Agate followed Azurite to the domain of the Icewarden, where they have started a brilliant clan of loyal dragons.

Agate still adores being cuddled up to Azurite in a warm and comfortable area, sleeping with their tails intertwined deeply in love, his fondness of her seems to have no end.

Not having parents never seemed to bother him much, on the outside he seems very apathetic and stoic but it's really just because he's lazy and doesn't want to put forth the effort, even though he is a lazy dragon he is still a fierce warrior, fighting for what he believes and those he cares for.

Agate at can't stand the dragon Aegrim, while he is happily mated to Ratna it doesn't stop him from flirting to sell an item, while he knows nothing will happen he dislikes the merchant's constant fraternizing with Azurite.

When he is feeling lethargic on hatchling duties he will swing his fluffy tail back and forth as a toy for them to chase.

Dialogue:

Agate was fast asleep, resting in the shade of a massive mechanical spire in the vast lands of the Shifting Expanse.
He had been for hours.
He was slowly roused awake by some strange force pulling him from his sleep. Lightning eyes opening blinking away his grogginess he looked around.

It took him a moment but he realized his surroundings were different. No longer alone in the empty desert he noticed a gorgeous Guardian resting not far from him also taking shelter from the beating sun. Sharing in his shade.
He decided to get comfortable before speaking, stretching his massive wings and uncurling his claws wide before settling into a calmed yawn.

Clacking his sharp teeth he finally looked to her, staring into her glimmering eyes “Hello.” he spoke with a gruff but soothed tone.

A smile came to her well tended maw but her teeth didn't show “Hello.” she replied calmly, pawing the book between her claws.

Reputation:

Some call him overly stern or aggressive. Stand offish even. And well, truthfully he is.
Agate has a reputation of an intimidating and rather rude dragon, while these are mostly true he has definitely calmed and gotten kinder in his years, though the public opinion has yet to catch up to his current demeanor.

Area of residence:

The Clouds:

A slightly more refined portion of the city, this area is where wealthier or higher ranked dragons make their home.
This area is the safest in the city, heavily guarded and kept a close eye on, it is also the place with the most rules. It's easy to be kicked out or banned from The Clouds if you aren't the dignified dragon they expect you to be!
