When it comes to this job, there's much more to it than medicine my dear. You must care for your patients, truly care for them, or you'll simply be a doctor, not a healer. Healing of the mind is just as important as healing of the body, remember that when you approach a patient.

Diligence was the unexpected bonus amongst her sisters, a twin that her parents didn't predict. Not only did she and Cameli share a womb, they shared an egg, something which made the two connected on a level no one else would ever be able to understand. While her sister was chronically fatigued, Diligence herself seemed to be perky- both in energy and mindset. She always proved to have a happy outlook on the world around her, a much needed support as they found what was wrong with her sister and separated the two in order to care for Cameli.

As her father worked to help her twin, Diligence found herself drifting away from simply playing with gauze and bandages to following Komol around as he did his daily attendaces. Learning how to change a bandage, set up a drip, ease the magic out of a wound, comfort a crying patient. She was eager to learn her father's work, always asking questions and always seeking more knowledge. Diligence truly lived up to her name, often sneaking her father's scrolls home to read them while her siblings slept. Absorbing everything she heard and read like an eager sponge, murmuring important notes quietly to herself as her sister slept against her side.

She was going to learn as much as she could from her father, and once he had taught her everything he could? She was going to leave and learn more. The young dragon was dead set, spending her late evenings looking out into the stars with determination in her sparkling pink eyes.

Diligence was going to become the best healer this side of the Sea of 1000 Currents.
