SHADOW FLIGHT SYMBOL BY DRYTIL #33073;
"Sometimes the most dangerous people can be your friends..."
The Shadowbinder stared down at the border of the Plague and Shadow Flights' territories. Two dragons were staring nervously, jumping around as they couldn't decide whether to cross or not. They finally made a decision, sprinting across the border. The Shadowbinder instinctively didn't trust them right away. She hadn't seen their kind in years. She jumped down from the tree she sat in. Usually she wouldn't interfere with dragons entering the Tangled Wood, but she was skeptical.
The two dragons stopped, all four heads staring up at her, surprised. The one with more purplish wings and bright red Plague eyes stared up at her and shrieked, "WE MUST NOT BE FOUND!!" The other swiftly kicked him, scolding him for yelling at a deity. When she was done scolding her companion, they both returned to staring up at the Shadowbinder.
"Why are you here?" The Shadowbinder asked them. The one with purple wings swiftly explained their situation to her. Apparently, he was a wanted criminal, and the Plaguebringer would more than surely be looking for him. When the Shadowbinder looked at the other dragon, she noticed the purple eyes only a Shadow born dragon would have. She couldn't bar her own kin from her home.
So she decided to let them in. Besides, they may find a clan willing to take them in and give them a purpose.
Lore
Still writing actual lore, but some brief lore points:
-not a big fan of bright colors, but simply because she is unused to them and they hurt her eyes, especially if they are high contrasting colors
-quite harsh and disapproving at times, but she gets really excited when someone new joins the Ark
-quite forgetful, she tends to forget to give new Aberrations in the Ark their title plates
-she has a naturally menacing voice, but again, when it comes to new Aberrations in the Ark, she sounds completely different
-tries to cheer up Smokewreath at times, but fails
-loves all of her children dearly, and loves seeing them go off to spread the word of the Ark
-she has yet to meet any grandchildren or "Omegas" as they are referred to in the Ark, but she hopes to someday have some not only out in the world, but also living within the main branch of the Ark
How to liberate an outsider Aberration
Liberation of an outsider Aberration is a long and arduous process. The process can take days, weeks, or even months to be complete. All outsider Aberrations MUST see Lordess Liberator to begin their liberation. The liberation process has multiple steps. First, the outsider must be brought to Alphas Wail and Smokewreath to be logged as beginning liberation. After the outsider has visited the Alphas, they will return to Lordess Liberator's domain, where they will be prepared for training. During this step, any previously unnamed outsider Aberration is given a name, as well. If the outsider Aberration is a hatchling, preparation will not start until they are grown. After preparation, outsider Aberration begin training. Outsider Aberration are trained one at a time, the main reason for the long wait to be fully liberated. Outsider Aberration MUST be trained to level 15 AT LEAST, no lower. After every level, the outsider Aberration will be brought to the Alphas to log their progress under their name. After the outsider Aberration reach level 15, the rest of the liberation process can be started, if they do not wish to train further at the time. If they do not wish to train further at the time, then they will be brought to the Alphas to be liberated fully and integrated into the overall hivemind, and be allowed to join the rest of the liberated outsider Aberrations. However, this part of the liberation process could take even longer than the training to level 15, as Aberrations must go out and find an egg of any kind and bring it back to the Alphas. What us done with these eggs is unknown after they are turned in. Typically, the Alphas will just abandon the eggs in another part of the Forest, or somewhere near a neighboring clan or near the Forgotten Kingdom. However, sometimes the eggs are hatched and then turned into Aberrations, allowing for more clean lines to be produced and be bred into the main line. The new generation 1 Aberrations can have their own hiveminds. The new generation 1 Aberrations will still listen to the overall hive, but their hiveminds can be just as big. After the outsider Aberration has brought back their egg, liberation is complete, and they will be integrated into the hivemind properly, gaining a title, and joining the Zetas under Master Destiny. They may also get a familiar of choosing that best suits them. Familiar does not have to be named.
Note: Outsider Aberration only have to join the Ark, they do not have to physically be in the main part of the Ark. If anything, that is the main goal of the Alphas; to spread the Ark as far as possible across all of Sornieth. If a hatchling of the Alphas leaves the main branch of the Ark, they must be trained to AT LEAST LEVEL 10 to show their loyalty. They can be trained higher if they wish.
Another note: If an Aberration, outsider or not, changes breed to something other than an Aberration, their allegiance with the Ark is broken and they will be considered a traitor and persecuted. If they are changed back to an Aberration, they may be re-integrated into the hivemind, but now MUST be trained to LEVEL 20 no matter if they are related to the Alphas or are outsiders. (This rule does not apply to those who started off as another breed, but then changed to an Aberration. Only to an Aberration part of the Ark changing to something else, and then, possibly, changing back.)
