Originally from the Shattered Plain region of Dragonhome, Sunspot found his way to the Sunbeam Ruins where he met the lovely Coatl named Sunlight. Sunlight is one of the clan's hatchling caretakers and Sunspot loves how gentle and patient she is. The two fell in love and have had clutches of their own. A few of their children have remained with the clan, notably Sunstream who seems to be following in his mother's footsteps. Sunspot is proud of his mate and hatchlings.

When not proudly beaming over his family, Sunspot can often be found digging out new lair spaces. He lacks the connection to the Lightweaver that many of his clan posses, so he dedicates himself to making room for new additions. He likes to welcome transfers and visitors alongside his son Sunshine.
