Born along the edge of the Carrion Canyon, the young spiral spent his days stretched out along the edge, studying the bones and the air currents that swept through the lair. Unhurried in life, he stood as an oddity amongst the bustling life of the Lightning clan of his birth Sumaria was sold by his parents to slavers from the Scarred Wasteland. Their path wasn't a direct one however, taking a detour through the Southern Icefields in search of more dragons to buy. It was there that the young Spiral escaped, talking his guards into a stupor before wiggling out of his bonds and slipping off into the frozen abyss.
For days he wandered, uncertain how to survive in such a hostile environment but driven by the knowledge that stopping would mean utter death. His claws were worn to nubs by the time he stumbled into the midst of a fledgling clan, a nameless thing huddled in the Frozen Floes. Though they had little to offer him, Sumaria chose to stay, offering his services in however he could. Darkness was abundant within the icy expanses, and Sumaria's eyes were able to spy through it better than most of the clan. Together with Lexaeus, he continued to keep watch over the clan during the night, though this position wasn't really to his liking or strength. Once the clan morphed into a troupe of players, his services as a night-guard was less needed, others having joined the growing clan to take that duty. Instead, Sumaria found himself playing messenger between his clan and friendly clans in other territories. In this, he found his calling answering the wanderlust that all of the Windsinger's children suffer from and giving him a purpose. Upon the clan moving to the ancient home of his people, Sumaria has spent a large amount of time with the Spirals of other clans. Given that he's a messenger, Sumaria has trained a fair amount so that he can continue to keep his cargo safe. Occasionally this means stopping to help weaker clans train themselves, though he's not done that in a while.
