Soon after the Dustcarve Dig began dragons all over Sornieth started giving up their eggs in thinking that their offspring will be of great help.
These babies were a form of offering, and so, many were given away or sold away for the cause of the dig.

Dust emerged from her egg located near the entrance of the dig. She popped up her head from the egg and stood on her hind legs to get out. The egg tilted over and she fell out, coming to a soft tumble and fell near a rock. When she finally recovered, she peaked around and realized that she was in a giant nest. There were a plethora of other eggs, ready to hatch and some already cracked open, but no hatchlings in sight. Wilken walked over to check in and saw little Dust gazing up at them. Wilken noticed that Dust was covered in a lot of, well... Dust. DUST will be your name shouted Wilkens! And so Dusts journey begins.
