At face value, Dak is something of the stereotypical alpha male: he’s loud, demanding, short-tempered, domineering, and prone to delegating tasks he considers to be beneath his attention. His anger isn’t something to be messed with as it’s the emotion that connects most strongly with his wolf, and he’s been known to shift unwittingly because something ticked him off. There are definite notes of possessiveness and jealousy, as he rarely has things that belong only to him and he has always resented others for their relative lack of responsibility. His good side is his defensive and protective instincts, and his urge to protect the pack above all else. Dak is unerringly loyal, though that devotion is peppered with sarcastic off-handed remarks, but his trust is a fickle thing: if someone takes advantage of him, doubles back on a promise, or otherwise doesn’t keep their word, there is no repairing it.
