Noises. Yes, that's what he was hearing from outside of the cramped wall. Well fooey. No more staying inside this warm space. The Banescale gave out a sharp kick, shattering through the mantle and rock that made up his egg. Tumbling out, he spotted two other dragons that looked like him. One of them, a female , was wearing a tag of sorts on her horn. The male was also being fitted with a small tag by a large brown dragon he did not know the name of. The mighty dragon turned her head over to look at him, giving a small smile. He snapped his jaws at the dragon's claws as she picked him up, picking up a small tag and putting it on his horn. "Welcome to the family."
A few days went by, and PG3 was busy playing with his sister PG1. Sulphite could be heard walking down to the cave they were housed in, the occasional *tink tink* of her iguana following it. PG3 turned to look at the new dragon, not fully sure what they were. The dragon looked around the room, and their gaze landed on PG1. "If I may, can I take this one for my lair?" They asked, Sulphite nodding. "Of course. PGees!" The trio being called, they all walked over to the dragon who fed them and would look after them. "Your sister PG1 is going off to a new clan. It's time to say good bye, for she will be filling a most honorable role and help keep our clan alive." PG3 was confused by the concept, but said good bye anyway to his sister. With a nod, Sulphite took off the now ripped tag off her horn and passed her over to the strange dragon. "Take care."
It wasn't even a day, but another strange dragon followed Sulphite down into the cave. The brothers PG2 and PG3 were lightly sleeping, stomachs full from lunch. "Pgees?" Sulphite softly called, having quietly discussed something with the noodly dragon. PG3 yawned, awaking the metallic brother that was sleeping soundly on his back. "PG3, it's time to say good bye. You're off to a new clan. It's a great honor to be chosen to go off to join a new clan." PG3 was curious about this. "Will I see you or PG1 or PG2 again?" The brown dragon chuckled. "Most would say not, but I'm sure our paths will cross again. Come now. It's time to go." Waving goodbye to his brother, PG3 was guided out of the cave and towards a dark dragon he'd only kinda seen once before. Only the one he saw was blue and not a strange green/brown and wearing a bright halo. "This is Myrddin. He'll take good care of you." Sulphite took off the tag, and went to mark something in a book she had over by one of the nearby desks. PG3 walked up boldly to the spiral, wanting to make a good first impression. After all, getting picked was a high honer.
