Apollyon
The Founder 
Before the Clan
A crowded and hungry childhood in a large clan of migratory Mirror dragons drove Apollyon to leave as soon as he was old enough. He initially had no desire to start his own clan when he settled down in the Driftwood drag, but his mindset quickly changed when a dainty Fae approached him soon after he had cleared the den. A few awkward and murmured conversations later, the Fae finally got her point across as being interested in starting a clan with him, and Apollyon couldn't bring himself to say no to her. His heart swelled when she finally gave him her first smile and he knew he had fallen for this Fae called Breen. Hard. From Nothing Under Apollyon's lead, many more dragons stumbled across the small clan of Nightwing, some asking to stay and others carrying on their way- be it to a new place to call home, or to serve the Shadowbinder herself. For a time, he was the most powerful dragon in the clan, none of the new faces- his family, he reminds himself now although he didn't realize it then- seeming to question his lead. Of course, until the burly Semira showed up. Barely out of the nest, and already trying to boss around everyone she set sights on, the headstrong Ridgeback meandered her way into their clearing and right into Apollyon's heart. She was naive and too confident, sure, but she had the makings of a true leader under all that riffraff, and Apollyon was suddenly determined to bring it out. He himself wasn't cut out to be a leader, he knew so himself, but Semira... With the right training she could become something Nightwing could be proud to follow. He stepped down from Patriarch title when he determined Semira ready, and now is her second-in-command, approving her decisions silently from the sidelines.
Personality:
Quiet; Aloof; Warmhearted
Apollyon is very quiet, rarely speaking other than to get a point across in all its bluntness. He has never thought himself a leader and thus has never sought to become one. He would protect his clan-or rather, his family- fiercely, even with his life on the line. Despite his bluntness and near-mute tendencies he has a very sarcastic sense of humor. Although very rarely does anyone get his jokes, thinking that hes being serious. He will often have to explain himself awkwardly when someone will mistake his words for truth. He also really likes to hoard bones. His and his mate's private den is filled to the brim with bone fragments and skulls that he enjoys lounging in. Breen is not too keen on the collection, but as she has her own hoard stuffed away in a sap nest above, she voices no complaints to him.
