Amaranth

Amaranth is a warrior who has spent much of her life as a Necromancer doing battle with enemies of the Plaguebringer, and was one of the warriors sent to contain and destroy the first Necromorph Behemoth after its convergence. Eventually, she was chosen to act as the personal guard of the Necromancer Councilor Gothmog after a grievous attempt on his life by a rival Councilor. She accompanied Gothmog across the many lands of Sornieth, using her mutagist powers and her skills with a blade to protect him from threats that his blindness left him vulnerable to.

When Councilor Gothmog finally settled down and serve as a healer to the residents of an old, isolated clan deep underground, she followed, unwilling to abandon the charge she had been tasked with. She is now a part of Gothmog's entourage, acting as his bodyguard.
Although the Sepulchre within which she now resides appears to be idealic and peaceful, there are secrets hidden beneath the stonework, old dangers that have been long forgotten by those who live their lives unaware of their presence, and so Amaranth stands as the stalwart defender against any that might threaten those lives.
