Jake

Jake is the firstborn son of Luke and Reagan, the clan's founders. One of two twins, the other being his sister, Jasmine. Of the two of them, it seemed pretty obvious that Jasmine would be the one to succeed their parents. She had the drive, the ambition. Meanwhile Jake would much prefer to sit in his room and read, or draw, or on rare occasions, play with his siblings. Jasmine and Jake have always been very close; Jake being one of the few dragons Jasmine won't scream at or be rude to. While Jake is now far to big to play wrestle like they had done as hatchlings, they still like board games and roleplaying on occasion. Though, now royal duties push his closest sibling away from him more often, giving him more time to himself. Jake had always been drawn to the stars. The enigmatic orbs of light that lit up the night sky, born from beautiful nebulas. As he got older and the pressure was taken off of him as it became more widely accepted that Jasmine was the more commanding Royal, Jake would take solo journeys to Arcane territory. Being a prince of his clan earned him the respect of the clans there, and he made a few friends, happy to sit down and learn about the stars and their deity, the Arcanist.

Over time, Jake started to adopt properties of the Arcane territory. It seemed that he had gained the attention of their deity. A noble of fire with such interest in the stars and the unique crystals of the Arcane territory might pique the interest of any dragon, of course. As a gift to improve the relations of the Arcane clans and Truthseekers, he was gifted with cloaks of starsilk and constellations mapped out in his wings. His scales also gained purple fading properties, which seemed to be luminescent and glow from time to time. This gift only increased Jake's obsession with the stars and the Arcanist, and he seemed to be half Arcane himself.
