Biography

BIOGRAPHY

Overview

Chief Engineer of a feared pirate crew, Aspix Serpixiss is a master of machines and all manner of engines. Difficult to kill and nearly immune to disease, Aspix takes on hard jobs under nearly impossible odds that many of her crew mates would find suicidal.

Regularly consumes mass quantities of Java Sparrows.

Implants

Aspix has imprinted sub-dermal circuitry underneath her skin, which she uses to control her various machines. The circuitry glows when in use, and on command. One of her hands is missing, replaced by a prosthetic gauntlet. She has also outfitted her goggles with chips that respond to her circuitry, allowing her to control them without touching them.

HISTORY

The Ashfall Wastes

A former resident of the Ashfall Wastes, Aspix has adapted fairly well to intense heat and smoke. Despite not hatching there (actually from Quarantine Zone #128), Aspix preferred to call what is now the Molten Scar home, however due to a recent eruption and subsequent increase in volcanic activity, her village and clan were decimated. None of the survivors have returned since.

Electronic Dreams

Shortly after the destruction of their village, many of the survivors left for another flight's territory. One group, including Aspix, traveled into the Lightning flight to make a home, as some of them had hatched there themselves. It was here that Aspix learned proper engineering, and became a master at building machines, such as robots, (early) computers, and electric engines. It was this third speciality that allowed Aspix to finally find a living, and a decent amount of profit, in the form of a niche market: Piracy.

Sail the Skies, Soar Across the Stars

By building a ship capable of soaring the skies as easily as other ships to the seas, Aspix and her crew became feared all across Sornieth. Living as both a pirate and an adventurer meant that Aspix has traveled far across the known world, and explored many wonders other dragons only hear of in legends. Everything from distant shores, to hidden islands, to sunken temples, and anything in between.

Exalting Aspix to the service of the Plaguebringer will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
