Hatchlings born of Aquamarine and Revali are destined for battle—or so their parents assume. Whether that battle be to encourage downtrodden clanmates through the final steps of a grueling project or ward enemies away from the clan's crumbling walls, their children are known for strength and tenacity. To better prepare them for the trials of life, their parents dutifully help each one hone a skill of their choice. When they eventually leave the nest, they are always ready to bring something to the world, and their parents couldn't be prouder. |
| xx | Though Sabre's mother hoped that the name "Sabre" in and of itself would make the young hatchling more inclined to swordplay, Sabre's knack for weaponry ultimately landed on a much smaller blade: the knife. Nervous of claw-to-claw combat, Sabre found that throwing knives allowed her to keep a distance from her foes and even get the drop on them through stealth should the need ever arise. She was always the most practical and level-headed of her siblings growing up, and that practicality is something she hopes will serve her well as she embarks on her journey away from home. She sees a lot of intrigue and promise in the world beyond her home clan's walls, and she ultimately hopes to find a life of camaraderie and adventure with a small band of likeminded warriors who can complement her strengths and weaknesses. |
