Crow

Crow has spent much of his life traveling, and has discovered he likes the more refined things in life. Which is an utterly bizarre outlook to have when choosing to settle down with a clan of more rough and tumble types. He does have a fondness for hatchlings though, and perhaps thought it was his duty to make sure future generations didn't grow up to be like their parents.

While there are plenty of other clan members to take over teaching the youngsters more practical life skills, Crow takes it upon himself to make sure they are educated in other matters. Some of his less kind students tease him about being related to the Arcanist because of his interests, but they will quickly shut up when he reminds them that any insubordination will result in them staying home from his next field trip (which even the most stubborn students will admit are always fun).

Familiar: Crow and Longinus make an odd pair, but the warcat is more a retired general than a soldier and prefers to spend much of his time sunning himself on local cliffs. However he's always ready to work when needed, and helps Crow keep an eye on his charges during field trips outside of the clan's territory.

Relationships: For the longest time, Crow had a crush on Odji, and it wasn't until a conniving plan hatched by half of their charges that he actually said anything to her. He accepts that she's less monogamous than he is, but for now is willing to share her.

He has an off and on friendship with Spitz and Ganna (though he sometimes wishes he could take the practical knowledge of the first and merge it with the temperament of the later to make the ideal scholarly companion), being the three most highly educated dragons in the lair, albeit in very different fields.
