Nerium

Nerium is intelligent, but close-minded, often scoffing at other's ideas before fully considering them, assuming he is right. His poisonous nature has isolated him in many ways, and he has a hard time opening up to others. He usually mates only for sex, and has yet to establish a meaningful relationship that extends past platonic friendship. Nerium adores his leaf-green tertiary and strives to emphasize it in his offspring. He has turned down several confused females for their lack of a complementary tert.

Nerium is a disgraced prince from the very distant kingdom of Lolathura, a region located across a vast desert hundreds of miles from the Verdant Wildwood. He was locked in a tower at a young age for his 'poisonous sin'. Unfortunately for Nerium, his poisonous sin was the result of a congenital birth defect that causes him to produce a slow-acting but potent poison from the points of his wings, spines, teeth and claws.

The deposed prince eventually escaped his tower of imprisonment after decades and fled into the night and unknown desert, reaching the Verdant Wildwood an exhausted skeleton. He has made a deep and longstanding friendship with Delphinium, and the other dragons of the clan often refer to the pair as 'Rium and 'Nium.
