Artim is chiefly defined by his disciplined and creative nature. He carries a powerful aura about him that entrances others and makes him read as effortlessly charming. However, he's also known to be quite coarse and bullheaded, and often doesn't like to take "no" for an answer.

He has a fascination with gold and similarly coloured gems. They remind Artim of himself, of course. And what could be more beautiful than that? He collects and hoards whatever sparkly, golden treasures he can find. He is a frequent customer of Whiteout, asking him to melt down gold coins and turn them into new, shinier objects. And he's always happy to pay for whatever he wants.

Artim heard of the Sunspot Lake through rumors in a nearby town. He grew up in a heavily populated and trafficked town, so he was used to the city life, but he was curious about what life within a cave would be for him. He fell in love with the sunspots that the den was named for - the sun beaming through the trees, glittering golden over the lake, and inside the cave the areas where sunlight found cracks in the ceiling and lit up the inside of the cavern. He knew that this was where he belonged - and he has been there ever since.

In town, Artim pays for himself as a real estate agent of sorts, helping dragons find places to live that suit their needs and having furniture (and sometimes even entire homes!) custom made to suit every customer's needs. He's known for being a little short with his suppliers, as he's quite the perfectionist and wants everything done exactly right.
