ivy is a quiet, thoughtful dragon whos patience is unmatched. they make candles in their shared home, and sell them to stella for her shop. - they met when they were young, and quickly came to see eachother as siblings. they essentially grew up together, and ivy helped evince come to terms with his identity the best they could.

There's someone there, in front of them. Strange. Ivy goes to lift their head, expecting to struggle, but it comes easily. They feel floaty. They don't like it, but they aren't surprised.
"Hello," the figure speaks, and Ivy realized with a start that they have two heads, "you must come with us, now."
Ivy looks down, quiet. There's blood on the ground but they cant feel it. They look up again, shaking their head.
The figure frowns, lowering to the ground slowly. "I apologize you had to go this way, but-"
"please." their throat hurts.
The twin heads of their personal escort look at eachother, wary, before turning back to the smaller dragon. "..you can't live forever."
Ivy nods, "I don't want that."
"What do you want, then?" It rises, not needing an answer, for he already knows, but wanting to hear it spoken nonetheless.
"Any time.. I need to see him again is all, and any time you'll give me after that, if that's okay."
The harvester sighs, moving over to the prone body so she can knit it back together. "We'll come for you eventually, you know."
"That's alright. I'll have come to terms with it by then.."
Bark is knit to bone as petals fill the gaps between flesh. "Do you promise?"
Ivy giggles, as the pain comes back in waves, "I promise." "I.."
Ivy rubs their arm, shrugging. "It's a long story-"
"I saw.. you died- I saw you die I- I k-"
They seem to pale, somehow. "Oh.. Vinny.."
Evince shudders, breath going shallow(er). "I kill-"
Ivy reaches out, tentatively. "It's not your fault, I mean it."
"HOW? How.. I did.."
"I should've made you leave. Brought you something, anything but I. But I didn't. Didn't do anything." They grab Vincents wrist, gentle, and he starts to cry. "You don't have to forgive yourself, but I want you to know that I do. I forgive you."
Evince wails, stumbling forward into Ivy's arms. Their embrace is not warm, not physically. But it's more than enough.
