Biography
Chesare is a Commander and Field Trainer of the he Shadowfall Clan.
He has been there since the clan was created and helped it grow and build to what it is today.
His younger hatch brother Arawn joined at the same time and both are close siblings after loosing their parents early on.
Though they do squabble from time to time for the dumbest things.
He takes his duties just as seriously as Midnight which is why both understand each other and get along so well. (Their friends love to tease them for their seriousness after they have forgotten, again, to care for themselves though.)
He is a down-to-earth, reliable and calm dragon who'd put his life down for Midnight, Riey and their clan. He loves his home and will protect it with everything he has if the need arise.
Other dragons know they can come to him if there are any problems and know he will listen to them.
One day he met Ashimosa, a wandering dragoness, and knew right away that she is special. She made his heart race in a way no one did before.
They both hit it off immediately and are often seen spending time together.
Midnight, seeing Chesare as her younger brother, enjoys teasing him for it (a little payback for when he teases her ) but is also telling him to follow his heart.
Chesare uncommonly hesitates which he has to pay the price for in watching his brother having a clutch with this fascinating dragon.
Knowing that Arawn had sworn to never love another dragon after Rikia, he wonders it it may has changed since his little brother seems so interested in Ashimosa.
After learning that both had decided from the beginning that they would not be mates, because Ashimosa truly thought that Chesare is not in love with her, he feels so relieved and starts to clear up that mistake right away they became mates.
When their first clutch is born Chesare could not have been happier.
He adores and spoils his hatchlings whenever he can.
This happiness is not supposed to last long though as two of their hatchlings, SilverSunlight and LoveOfTwoGems, has been taken from them by the Great Illness and serve now under their deity the Shadowbinder.
Despaired and determined to keep his remaining hatchlings, SilverEmerald and Ivy, save and did everything in his might to protect them.
Seeing Ashimosa do her best as a healer aswell but neglecting her own health conflicts him, on one claw he wants his mate to take a break, on the other claw he hopes she and Mysthica can find a cure.
Ultimately he confronts her about her health and while this breaks out into an argument Ashimosa also finally breaks down and both talk about their fears for their remaining hatchlings.
When thinks started to look better Ivy suddenly came down hard with the illness that already claimed so many.
Chesare and others brought every herb and needed item for the healers as fast as they could but unfortunately, shortly just before the cure was finished, Ivy succumbed to it and now serves with her other hatch siblings under the Shadowbinder.
Despaired by these events Chesare and Ashimosa fell into depression, they only light their little SilverEmerald now.
When Silv was old enough to start her own life Chesare knew that his mate would need to leave for a awhile, wanting to learn more to save others netter, the deaths of their lost hatchlings weighting heavily on both their consciousnesses.
Letting his mate leave he and Nayru, who went through the same pain as Chesare, became friends but also lost themselves into their tasks, letting their duties hide the pain away.
Years later the empty part of him that always aches for his mates warmth gets him and Rose for a night closer and a new clutch on its way. But he knows that Ashimosa is the only one for him just like Lerest will forever be Roses light.
Both raise Amala and Chess together greatly till Amala decided to leave for a Wind Clan and Chess fallling in love with an Arcane Clan
and wanting to learn more from them
While he doesn't want to see his children leave, he lets them.
Their happiness being his priority.
As he and Rose go they separate ways he gets a lovely surprise of his mate being back.
After the joyous reunion they tell each what has happened in the last decade, explaining their pain, loneliness and ache for their mate.
He doesn't care that Ashimosa had a surprise clutch with Raidan and she understands the circumstances his and Roses clutch came to be. Both accepting the others children immediately into their family and loving them as their own.
Now being together with his mate and light, Chesare could not be happier.
