Echo and Echo were born on the exact same day at the exact same time and were bonded from birth. The two have the ability to talk to each other telepathically, never going anywhere without the other. Echo even decorated his body with armor to be more like Echo even though he’s not on the battle team or a dragon gaurd.

After being connected to his familiar so closely Echo and Echo work together to connect other dragons to familiars that will be perfect matches to each other. Working closely with Runt who watches over the familiars. Echo (dragon) knows everyone in the clan very well, even if they might not know him the best. It’s his job to understand each dragons personality in order to find them a familiar that will match them perfectly. On the other hand Echo (familiar) knows the ins and outs of ever one of the familiars, their behavior, their requirements, everything. The combo of Echo and Echos skills makes them the perfect matchmaking pair.

Echo and Echo reside in the mouth of a twisting cavern not too far from the familiar sanctuary. The walls of the cave are wet and the dripping of water from stalactites helps them fall asleep. So much so that when they sleep anywhere else, other dragons need to make the sound in order for them to go to bed.

Basically, Echo is a dragon and Echo is his familiar, those two are bonded more than any other dragon and familiar I’ve ever seen. They’re in charge of matching dragons up to their perfect familiar based off of what we like to do and how we spend our time and whatnot! It’s really quite fascinating seeing them work. I absolutely adore Mr. Echo! Aqua is one of those secondary colors that goes super well with purple range primaries, and it just works so well on him. The idea of a familiar matchmaker is such a sweet one. I'd trust him and Echo the snake to match me with a familiar 100%!
