The quest for power is one that dragons beyond counting have been on in the history of the world. Seemingly, there are endless individuals that want - for some reason - to have power over others. Entire nations go to war simply for that one little thing. Mimulus has absolutely no idea why.

For the obelisk, the best thing in life is to be free to do what you want. The large dragon believes that anyone who willingly seeks out so much responsibility and the constant threat of someone trying to take what you have is insane. Certifiably. The only thing Mimulus wants is to be an old fashioned jester like in all the old stories.

Jesters went everywhere, and were allowed to remain around kings and advisors mostly unrestrained. They were allowed to say anything and everything, and as long as it made someone laugh it could be written off as a joke. Jesters were at once the center of attention and completely invisible, depending on how you looked.

Mimulus likes to pretend he is a spy who has to act like a fool to not be caught. His life is filled with intrigue and jokes in equal supply. While he does not actually live in a kingdom at war, or even in any sort of strife, he enjoys the idea of it. To that end, he’ll quite often roleplay to entertain. Many of the lunatics in the lair like to humor him by playing parts when he's caught up in a particular adventure. Laughter is the best medicine, after all.
