She's a cat thief.

Under cover of darkness she creeps into shelters and pounds.

There she seeks out the most at risk kitties.

Those with health problems; those in high-kill areas; the old, the sick, and those who have been there the longest.

The forgotten. The unwanted. The unloved.

Magical kitties made of pure light meow reassuringly and play with the shelter cats, calming their fears as she picks the locks of their cages.

She is patient. Their comfort is paramount.

With sparkling lights and catnip-scented smoke she lures them to her.

She pets and praises, soothes and snuggles.

Treats and toys abound.

When they trust her, she tucks them into her vest.

And she smuggles them away.

They are hers now.

And they will always be loved.
