Within the mountains on the outskirts of Astéri Sōlis, an ancient cavern with several sculptures carved possibly thousands of years ago had been undiscovered for centuries. In the center stands a massive stone statue depicting the Earthshaker. Ametrine had merely been a vagrant who had caught wind of this massive effigy, and upon seeing the ruins had a moment of clarity- this place was her Charge.

Though she hails from The Tangled Wood, Ametrine feels a close bond with Dragonhome and the Earthshaker due to the former temple now being her Charge. Though she had been a drifter before arriving, she now stays almost exclusively in Sōlis, having to practically be forced to leave by her friends just to get her a refreshing change of scenery. As the ruins are an important feature in the clan, she knows it will be kept safe... but she's restless until she can return.

Most of her time is spent wandering the halls of the temple, keeping the statues clean and making sure not even a single pebble is out of place. Ametrine begrudgingly allows visitors, but is very strict, watching them their entire visit. The only Clanmates of hers that are allowed to roam the temple freely are Sōlis' Progenitors, as well as the historians of the clan. She's around them enough to know they have a deep respect for historical sites such as this, and that they'd never cause any problems or remove any artifacts.

Ametrine rarely leaves the area, her house being close to the temple's cave entrance. A loud, heavy gate that groans and creaks loudly when opened, enough to wake her from her home. This barrier is a recent installment that was only added for her consideration; she wasn't sleeping well otherwise, filled with the desire to protect the halls of the ruins.

On occasion, when one of the trusted clanmates is visiting the temple, Ametrine will venture away from the area. She usually doesn't leave Sōlis, but her trusted friends will guard it for her, mostly just watching over the entrance. When she does venture out, she often explores other notable ruins and caves, merely studying and never touching anything within these places. If there are souvenir stands in the area, she cannot help but purchase small knickknacks and particularly interesting rocks or fossils.
