Lector was one of the first dragons of Clan Naga. Kicked out of his pack after a failed leadership challenge, he quickly assimilated with a group of dragons from the Windswept Plateau. At first he worked in the shadows, being a crony and general tormenter; later, he learned to battle and made friends with the clan's warriors.

He has spent a long time with the clan and learned to talk, though he prefers to use grunts and animal sounds to communicate. He has never given up his pack tendencies and for the most part refuses to wear apparel. Intellectually he's very simple, and more like the pet dog than a true clanmate. However, fighting alongside him is like being in a wolf pack; the camaraderie is there, but you know you wouldn't be able to stop him if you had to. 		naga1_by_shakshun-d99tbeg.png

Lector used to bully Dusty, but when Dusty's tormenter left, Lector found no reason to anymore. They've fallen into a truce, although their friendship is mostly teasing. He likes killing things because it's fun and he likes Vortex because they kill things together.

He has also had a long-standing relationship with his Cursed Bat familiar. It is the brains to his brawn, perching on his head or shoulders and steering if needed.
