Introduction The walk through the garden is peaceful. Nothing particularly unpleasant, although there are signs of animal disturbances throughout some of the brush. It's not enough to have destroyed the carefully cultivated flowerbeds, but you see a white wildclaw nearby sunbathing himself on a flat rock. He's sleeping soundly, almost a bit too soundly. You can see scratched from claws or talons all over his body. All sorts of familiars are crowded around him, asleep as well it seems. A few of them seem quite miffed, and a few of the bird-like familiars peck at him almost like they're begging him to wake up. He rolls over in his sleep but doesn't bother to get up. You carry on with your walk, trying to mind your own business. As you walk away, you wonder if he'll eventually get to taking care of the familiars. |
