Oilspill

Oilspill, dubbed so in an attempt to distract from questions of what the liquids and sludges amalgamated into dragon form was- once existed as a twisted tree living by a bubbling bog, innocent bystander- photosynthesizing- until one day Shadowlurker- corrupted by the wild magic being channeled into him, attempted to try once more at the magic he used to be able to do- before it became impossible to produce a tamed spell.

As expected, his spell backfired- shooting a burst of the corruption into a nearby tree- twisting it, melting it, scarring it into a sentient abomination. Shadowlurker had attempted to abandon it, leave the sludge beast behind at the murky bog.
It followed him, however, and made itself at home in the silver line. Toying with him at any given opportunity, mocking him, tormenting him as the corruption spread further.
She grew more individual each day- and to their own benefits, both of the dragons kept quiet about her origins.

----FORM CHANGE. BOGSNEAK TO ABERRATION----

The torment grew frustrating for Shadowlurker, however. It didn't take long for his dislike of Oilspill to result in her becoming a victim of his rage- landing her a key part of his 'research' and experimentation, but as his corruption grew stronger, so did she as his subject. A sentient reflection of the destruction and chaos consuming him. Her form changed quite a few times as both of them grew worse. Her haunting presence could not be destroyed or abandoned.

With this finally being accepted, Shadowlurker attempted to work with her to increase her power. They could be unstoppable together, after all- she did come from him. She was part of him.
Shimrio allowed his research to go forward, not that her approval was necessary anyway- She had caught on to the predicament but had not shared. She saw the benefits that could arise.

One eventful night of alchemy and evocation, Oilspills form twisted and contorted, shrieking and crying filled the atmosphere- a new form changing- one more permanent as finally she became a true creature- she who had begun from simple sludge and rotten corrupted wood had gained true existence, true life- as if this was meant for her all along- that the magical outburst was leading to this. The sludged form was merely similar to larvae. Oilspill a caterpillar that had become a butterfly.

Why a second head was necessary, Shadowlurker didn't know. But as both heads began to speak of their differing and agonizing feelings of existence and morals and magic. He knew he was in for worse than he had already been receiving. To have an embodiment of his corruption haunting him was one thing, for it to take on more than that, with an extra head for tormenting, was another.
