Lacey

Lacey She/Her | Vessel Angel with the patchwork wings Once she was abandoned like the very dolls that now surround her. In her search for those she lost she found someone that had too been abandoned. Now the two of them create new friends that will never leave them. Was born with weak wings and couldn't fly. She made her own to help her. As a child she made a pact with a creature from beyond. She let them out and gave them a vessel, and in return she asked them to be her friend. Now as an adult she cares for lost souls at the edge of the far dark. The red lines across her body are side effects of being a vessel.

Four-Eyed Phylactery Familiar Someone in your lair picked up this "haunted doll" as a gift in the easternmost bay of the realm. The seaside hawker claimed it was (quote): "Very independent! Do not try to pin this doll down!" 1500

Buttons-Friend Created for her by muru. Buttons is a lovely friendly plush friend. Buttons will often get carried away and hurt himself. Lucky for him he's made of patches and stuffing so Lacey can stitch him up. This has helped her learn sewing skills for which she has developed a passion for it.

Malign Presence Apparel Some wrongs are difficult to leave behind. 1100

Muru-Watcher They call themselves "The murmuring void" but were given the nickname of Muru by hatchling Lacey. They act offended but it genuinely tickles them especially as Lacey aged. While at first they seeked to get out for revenge but the ask of friendship from a child made them rethink. Revenge can wait, for now.

In the far dark she found creatures terrifying and cruel.
Until she found what looked to have been a town. With the reminder of what she had lost she began to cry as she had many times before.

Drifting in the dark. Festering anger in a heartless heart. Memories of betrayal and of friends lost interrupted by tears of a similar loneliness.

In the midst of here tears she heard a voice calling to her. It sounded calming and reassuring yet she was unable to understand what was said but she followed. She walked past massive statues of unidentifiable creatures covered in moss and broken by time. Finally she came upon room with small vase dwarfed by
the massive statues this time with what appears to be amour.

"Release me!" the voice she had been following said.
"Where are you?" she said with curious wonder.

She found them abandoned in the far dark. Darker and farther than any young dragon ought to be. Little known to her they had been trapped and sealed there before being lost to time as those that had trapped them had later themselves been lost.


Personality

• She grew up quite sheltered with only Muru and Buttons as company.
• She's very friendly with visitors and when she goes to market but burns out quickly.
• While her baking is not the best she enjoys baking for travelers. She encourages them to avoid the long dark or at least to take a doll as a guide. If they decide to go anyway she wishes them luck and continues with her day.
• Her hobbies include sewing clothes, cross stitching & embroidery, caring for her house plants, walking & collecting treasures.
• While she does enchant apparel for dragons she first makes drafts. Buttons often ends up being her model, he enjoys the attention.
