Personality
Strict, serious Artrix is devoted to his job. He has a sectioned-off part of the library to himself, that students are forbidden from entering, and most of the staff (except Clarity) try to avoid. He tends to be antisocial and bad-tempered, but is a hard worker and a skilled writer.

History
Artrix, raised an arcane dragon, had a knack for organizational jobs since he was little. Whether it was sorting file cabinets' worth of research, or making lists of all the equipment in observatories and laboratories, he would do it, not for pay, but because somebody had to do it. When he heard of a school starting up along the fringes of the Nature flight's territory, he sought out the founder himself and asked to join. Originally he served as the librarian, but his short fuse made him unsuitable for the job. He trained his replacement and moved to specifically care for school records, a much more isolated job that he enjoyed more than his previous one.

School of Plant and Animal Keeping

A B O U T

Woodcreek Academy's goal is to teach about the care and keeping of Sornieth's many species of flora and fauna, and many other related skills. Dragons, as well as Beastclans, from all over come to attend classes here, whether it's to learn skills that will aid their clan or simply out of curiousity. All students are expected to participate in the upkeep of the school as well as their classes.

Students of Woodcreek Academy can take a variety of classes. They may choose to take a wide variety of courses, or focus on a single skill. Classes range in difficulty, allowing students to take more difficult classes if they pass the lower-level ones. Students can also join a variety of study/support groups and student-led organizations, further allowing them to expand their skills. Students are free to join at any point during the term, of which there are three per year, with a month's break between each. Students may also skip terms to return home and visit family.

The academy is built among the massive wetland trees, with each tree holding the classes of a specific path. Amid the trees and dirt are the dorms, designed to cater to each dragon species, as well as dorms meant for the Beastclans. The wetlands on the edge of the Nature flight's territory provide a quiet and focused learning environment, along with the resources needed for all of the classes.

H I S T O R Y

Founded by a Light Guardian named Clarity, who sought to teach other dragons about the wildlife of Sornieth, Woodcreek Academy accepts students from across the world and across species, reaching out to Beastclans as both teachers and students as well.

Though currently just starting up, the school shows much promise. Dragons or Beastclans looking to apply for student or professor positions should speak to Clarity directly.
