Bolt is an electrician, loving electricity and everything surrounding it. Even though he's not a native born lightning dragon, he has a knack for understanding and controlling electricity. Though he does get shocked quite often, he shrugs it off and continues to work. Bolt's charming and kind, helping out anyone who needs it, regardless of the task. He's easy to get along with and talk to, leading people to dump some of their problems onto him. He tries to understand where people are coming from and help out as much as he can. Due to that, he often neglects his own problems.

Born in Emberglow Hearth, Bolt grew up near the ever present storms of the Shifting Expanse. Even as a hatchling, he loved watching the thunderstorms and tracking the lightning across the skies. As soon as he was allowed, he made the journey to the Tempest Spire and apprenticed under the first electrician he could. When he learned all he could from them, he moved on to learn more and more about electricity and how to harness it. It was during this time he was assigned Electra, a Sparkling Goblin to help him with his work. He took to her immediately and brought her with him wherever he went.

He ignored the itch of The Search for years until he couldn't take it anymore. He started traveling, doing electrical work wherever he found himself at the time. He found a job listing to wire an entire town for an island in the Hoverview Vale and he took it without question. When he arrived at the island, he realized his search was over. The island itself was his Charge and he would now do anything to keep it and its inhabitants safe.

While working closely with Vivani to restore the town, he began falling in love. For the first time in his life he felt shy, and would often trip over his words or get shocked more often when she was around. She found it utterly charming and they soon became mates.
