Niobe is the daughter of Vivenne, though Vivenne has never actually had a partner. Her egg appeared in Vivienne's nest one evening, and the imperial didn't ignore the obvious sign that this child was meant for her...so she protected the egg, a bit surprised to find a Pearlcatcher from within, even more surprised with the beautiful primal eyes of her new daughter. Niobe is a caring young dragon, though she has her own struggles and self doubts. Her primal eyes came from a blessing from the Arcanist...a blessing of great powers for her to use for the better of the Arcane Flight. For the better of all dragons. However, Niobe does not believe she is worthy of these powers, and feels that if she can't learn to control them soon...she'll hurt someone she loves.
