____Morrigan is loud, social, confident, and always a joy to be around. The sound of his whole-hearted laugh is a regular part of Kitebreeze’s background noise, and never fails to put the clan in a good mood. His excellent social skill makes fast friends with equally gregarious drakes and coaxes quiet wallflowers out of the most stubborn shells.
____Although his loud, almost brash exterior suggests otherwise, Morrigan is very good at reading the atmosphere; he knows when to break a silence or leave it intact, how to read minute shifts in expression and tone. A true extrovert, he thrives on simply spending time with someone, even a near-mute dragon like Kaneda. To Morrigan, simply being in the presence of another, whether conversation is involved or not, is worthwhile.
____Despite his officer position and confidence, Morrigan struggles with making important decisions and averting conflict. His strong sense of empathy actually gets in the way and he sees every side as equally valid. Without an action or statement clearly outlined for him, his resolutions come out watery and spineless. This is not to say that Morrigan won’t stick up for his beliefs; rather, he has a powerful moral compass and he will vehemently defend goodness and justice. The issue lies with grey areas, as Morrigan works strictly in black and white.
____This is where Kaneda comes in. Their intuition and willingness to do what is best for Kitebreeze and Wind flight gives Morrigan the structure he needs to carry out Kaneda’s decisions. He is Kaneda’s right-hand man, voicing their leadership and aspirations that they lack the vocal capability and social finesse to carry out themself. The pair have governed their clan like this since they founded Kitebreeze together, and have never clashed or disagreed yet.
