Ophie is Phades daughter and kinda does her own thing right now. Until she finds what she wants to do she’s kinda a pro at wrangling hatchlings and bartering with Glacier to get him to let her touch his books He’s coming… she could see him through their eyes. Someone else was with him but who?? Her death seeker shuffled his feathers his eye on his chest glowed as his murder watched the approaching threats. Aquati stalked through the woods looking for them. “He’s coming and he’s brought company,” Ophie whispered to her sister Opha who watched the woods carefully. “He will die for his crimes. For what he did to mother and Scorpia,” she whispered. The two mirrors turned trotting away at a slow pace to an open clearing. They waited as Aquati and his company approached. “Hello Ophie Opha. Where’s your mother and father?” He asked his voice dark. “You are here by found guilty by the Emperor alliance and sentenced to death,” Ophie said head held high her sister stood next to her. Ophies death seeker looked up at the trees sets of three eyes glowing in the dark trees. “And I’ve been chosen as executor,” she said snarling suddenly lunging at Aquati and Jasper. Death her death seeker flew into the air landing on Ophas shoulder waiting patiently. Aquati dodged sliding to the side his dagger flicking out to slash at Ophie. Jasper came from her left her own daggers out. Ophie dodged pivoting backwards and watching Aquati and his daughter slam into one another. Both cursed angrily as Ophie ducked away and ran around them coming up from behind. “For my mother!” She snarled slashing Aquati in the back before dancing away. “You little-!” Death dove for Jaspers eyes before she could throw the dagger at his master. Jasper screamed flailing to get rid of the bird. Aquati screamed scrambling away before turning to face Ophie. “You will die!” He snarled as Ophie lunged slashing at his wings and diving under him. Aquati screamed curling into a ball as his wing was slashed and hanging by a ligimit. “That was for Scorpia,” she said her bird skull mask hiding most of her face. The death seekers in the tree cawed swarming Aquati. He screamed as the birds pecked him ripping and clawing at his mane wings and face. Jasmine was also swarmed by birds but she bolted before they could do anymore damage. “You’ll pay for this!!” She screeched running away. Ophie watched Aquati be torn to shreds while Death sat on her shoulder. “Make sure it’s finished,” she said softly to the bird. |
