Dottore is not of this clan - he's always known that. The thing is, he never really belonged in his old clan either. It not like they weren't friendly or anything, and his parents were pretty great, but he just never fit in. That's not why he left though! At least, that's what he keeps trying to tell himself. He left first for Starfall Island, seeking an education among the Arcane Scholars. He loved the learning, the knowledge. It felt like he was grasping at the secrets of the universe itself. But eventually even study has to come to an end, and he found himself among a new clan. Dottore immediately buries himself in his work trying to discover the hidden secrets of alchemy - how is it that a dragon's genes can be changed? Their breed itself? And through the most unlikely place - a green ooze filled cauldron?
At least that's what he was trying to do with himself all the way up until the moment he was rudely awoken to the fact that he actually isn't alone in this clan. It turns out his paternal grandparents also live here, and they refuse to leave him alone! Chaospinner and Webweaver are clan old blood - they've been here since the very founding. But that also means they've been here so long, they've seen all but one of their hatchlings move on to other lives. Finding out one of their grandchildren had returned to them? Well, its suffice to say they were more than thrilled. It's all quite a nuisance to Dottore - after all the secrets of the universe are waiting! But hmm... Maybe a home cooked meal isn't so bad every once and awhile... and that art exhibition last week was pretty neat. Well, maybe Dottore can live with this after all.
