You have seen a lot of interesting, concerning, questionably real things in your time here. Such is the nature of this place, and most of it appears to be benign, if not benevolent. However, one particular sight lingers in your mind, at the edges of your consciousness, following you where you go. Just as you start to forget about it, there it is. In the corner of your vision, barely visible in the dark, quickly lost in the bustle of a crowded area... it's there. You aren't entirely sure what it is. It keeps its distance from you, which you greatly appreciate, but it sadly means you can't get a good look at it or entirely distinguish what it is.
It feels like it watches you, as if it needs you in order to exist, as it remains on your mind and appears in your vision when the thought begins to fade, creating a newer, fresher though for it to feed on. It makes you wonder, which prevents it from popping up in your line of sight, what that might mean.
Does it require your thoughts, your acknowledgement of it, your belief in order to exist or does it exist regardless, only haunting you as a way of gaining some sort of energy or joy from your fear or your energy?
You consider asking the next dragon you meet about it, wondering if it really is just some sort of object or creature that happens to have good timing or if it might be a psychic construct experienced and shared by everyone here. You open your mouth, attempting to ask, but... something else comes out of your mouth entirely. You don't exactly know what you said, and the following response and conversation evades your full perception, but you know you wanted to ask about that thing. You cannot bring yourself to speak of it.
You try to bring it up again, but you feel eyes on you. Right behind you. Staring daggers into you. You freeze. It's here and it's close. You cannot speak.
