Giro

The ground shakes with each step of the Gaoler. Giro follows a blind path, not saying a word. He makes his way to his mate, Melisande, sitting down roughly next to her. Many find it surprising that Giro, being smaller than her, both in weight and size, is the one that causes earthquakes with each step. Maybe it's because he stomps around blindly. However, something about this Gaoler is off-putting; as if he doesn't have his own thoughts. And you would be right, to an extent. Giro can, in fact, think for himself, but that’s not to say his thoughts are stable. They're far from that, really. He seems to have the mentality of a rapid, feral animal, with only a tiny bit of obedience and self-control left in him, which is saved for Melisande. Only Melisande can keep him under control, calling him to her side when she is worried he may hurt someone. No one knows if he means to bring this pain or not. He seems fully aware of his surroundings, and is stable enough to tell friend from foe 90% of the time, but there a few times where he blindly attacks. For now, though, he just sits and watches his mate make music, occasionally giving a huff of approval to reassure her that she is doing great.
