SUNSPOTS
Multi-Eyed Mage

Sunspots is a powerful warrior, an adept mage with his Light magic. He's not sure where it came from. Some say it's talent, some say it's because of his Bright eyes, some say it's luck. Whatever the case, Sunspots is not one to boast about it.

The strangest thing about Sunspots is not about his magic, though. He can actually see through some of the filigree that makes up his tertiary gene - more specifically, the bright spots on his wings, neck, torso, and snout. The others in his former clan were weirded out by this ability, so he hid away from their prying eyes and covered his own with wood and cloth so that others wouldn't notice.

So Sunspots came to Moonflight. A Light dragon with Bright eyes yet could see in multiple places, seeking the help of an oozing Shadow dragon whose specialty laid in not fighting, but healing. Moonflight inspected the extra "eyes" and found them peculiarly astounding. He informed Sunspots about other dragons in the clan with strange gene-based consequences - albeit most of them, like in Spriteling and Permafrost's cases, have a negative impact - which helped to comfort Sunspots about his ability.
