Psychlareon

A Circus Dragon. Psychlareon specializes in the high acrobatics, the higher the better. He decorates his form to be seen and moves according to the story, his whole body is usually a different character. The newest addition to the circus, he's quickly fitting in though.

"I'm ready though!" He protested when the ring master declined his plea, "Dante, I said I'm ready! I've memorized the story--I know my movements!"

"But that story isn't right for this time of the year, why did you rehearse Tail of Two Nocturnes in spring?" Dante pointed out. "Anything else, you could have picked literally anything else from my library and you picked a holiday story!"

"But it's my favourite, I already have the right costumes for it!" Psychlareon said.

"Costumes don't matter, and you can repurpose them for - I can count five stories of the top of my head that would be appropriate." Dante crossed his front arms and turned his head, "Hmm... Y'know what. Fine, if you're ready, then let's prove it. Show me your skill. Grab your costumes and get to your perch, but do not put them on yet."

"Yes!" Psychlareon looped in victory and flew to his tent. He skipped along the ground and behind the scenes Psychlareon climbed up to his perch. He began to dress but then remembered, oh no, Dante said not to.

The circus began it's performance on time, Psychlareon waited for his turn. He listened intently to Dante, ah this is a test.... Practice is meaningless now. When you first join the circus you have to read all the stories Dante has and learn them, so when Psychlareon heard the story of the tortoise and the hare he quickly dressed with the pieces he needed and got into a starting pose.

The spotlight shined up and illuminated him. Psychlareon moved according to the story that Dante told. See? I told you I was ready
