Biography
Peace
"Nothing is inherently evil or good, we are born in a neutral gear and must decide our own fates, we must choose to be good or to be bad. The universe may have a place for you, but you are the one who ultimately creates your own path in life."
Bard & Peacemaker
"Nothing is inherently evil or good, we are born in a neutral gear and must decide our own fates, we must choose to be good or to be bad. The universe may have a place for you, but you are the one who ultimately creates your own path in life."
Bard & Peacemaker
Peace was not his first name. It is a burden, a heavy title that he gave himself after he had put much thought into it. Renaming oneself is like shedding an old skin, discarding of a past one is no longer attached to. And this is what he had been doing. He had discarded his old life, the one flooded with regret and disappointment. He had shed an old skin - and he became Peace. A dragon with a new purpose, chasing a new charge, a new lead on life.
He took up music along with his new name, becoming known as a bard during his travels. He would go wherever he was needing, his rich colors and kindly expression always gained him allies and friends. Of course, all dragons eventually would come across someone that no amount of kindness or good music can win over, and Peace gained enemies as well. Dragons bent on fueling their anger and their hatred. Peace watched them destroy themselves and their clans, and did his best to guide the innocent and the injured to safety.
Down the road, he met an Earth clan that had mutilated and corrupted a small group of their dragons, turning them into horrible monsters that were forced into massacres. War Guardians, they called these four. Hallowed was the only one sane enough to hold a conversation, and Peace was touched by the amount of pain and mourning in the imperial's pale eyes. He offered to get the giant imperial away, as long as Hallowed worked to overcome the evil that had been created inside him.
The other three, unfortunately, had to be left behind. Peace knows it had shattered his friend to leave them, but they had no other choice.
Many years later, the two had gone their separate ways. Peace had thought he would never see Hallowed again, and even feared that the Earth clan had finally found him. Once, while on a trip to a festival to play music, he bumped into a very young imperial named Ardor, who he found out was the adopted son of Hallowed - his old friend! They promptly returned to the lair of Clan Misfortune, the leader of which was happy to allow Peace to live within the clan.
Hallowed had been ecstatic to greet the guardian, and introduce him to the other three guardians, who had been rescued sometime during their time apart. They needed help, surely, but they were learning and only needed kindness and time. And those were things Peace still had, and he was willing to give anything to them to make amends for leaving the first time around.
Peace has since reunited with Hallowed, and the two are rarely seen without each other.
Relationships:
- Peace seems to be a dear friend of Hallowed's, and perhaps more, but it has never been confirmed and the two are never overly affectionate in public.
- Ardor and Peace get along great, with the guardian teaching the imperial how to better control his nature and make good choices.
- Endeared has tried to hate Peace the same way she hates Hallowed, but as the guardian never fails to be patient and forgiving with her, she can't help but to ultimately trust and like him.
- Iago, Mune and Moss still do not trust him, and he does not blame them. They are civil to a point, and highly prefer Hallowed over Peace.
- The bard mentioned in Hallowed's lore
- Might also be the nomad mentioned? Nah not likely
- Very kind but very tired and not up to humoring dragons these days, not even with a paid song and dance.
- I KNOW he's young than Hallow but please let me be he's the only one I could find
