Clan Patriarch

Origins - Chance was the first in the clan and therein founded it. He was hatched in small part of the Highland scrub, after being abandoned by his parents. Why his parents left his egg, is unknown. Instead of his egg perishing in the dry desert, a passing dragon found his egg and took him in. He doesn't remember who this dragon was as she disappeared along with her clan. To this day, he doesn't know why he can't remember her name or even find them, as if he was put under a spell to forget.

Personality - Chance is a rather gruff and stoic guardian. He's easily angered and generally looks intimidating among his peers. Though underneath his rough demeanor, chance really is a kind dragon. He doesn't particularly show it, but he's very gentle towards the hatchlings of the clan. He's a stern but noble leader amongst the adults as well, making sure he keeps the peace and cares about their well-being.

Mate - Chance's mate was once Kyla. Kyla was his beloved guardsman mate, whom had made a decision to leave the clan and join those who exalted to serve the Stormcatcher. Although it pained him to watch his queen leave, he did not question her decision and respected it. Now Chance has no current mate and does not plan or seek a new one. Kyla was his one and only and thus he refuses to mate again.

Clan Role - Chance is the Clan's Patriarch. He was the first to the clan and thus formed the clan from the bottom up, with the help of his first and former mate, Mazia, his mate before Kyla. Chance leads the Clan of the Forsaken and keeps the peace amongst the clan.
