Most people that Akiva meet will only see him in his mortal shape, though he is still a strange sight to behold. His skin is warm brown with white, wispy hair and eyes the color of a polished amber stone -- he is just normal looking enough to pass from whatever odd, other-worldliness he hails from. The magic, glimmering tattoos on his body do not help his cause, but he is a proud creature and has to show off somehow.
Akiva is elegant in his body, standing with confidence and poise no matter the situation. He dresses primarily in things that show off long strips of his skin, hidden the right amount to remain mysterious. He prefers light colored clothing with floral, intricate embroidery.
One thing that ties his forms together is the colors of white and gold: from a jaguar whose pelt is so light that stars dance on it like fireflies, to a creature tall with rugged arms, born of the fire and flame of the earth itself. These colors speak of opulence, but also of the virtue he is meant to represent -- perhaps, long ago, he was worshiped and lauded as a hero, and held to the traits a person of his stature should be.
In all his forms, he bears two tails -- the balance -- and in his more bestial ones, a ring of orbs that spin around his neck, propelled by magic alone.
