Biography
Chills ran up and down my spine like an elevator as I soared above The Scarred Wasteland. I was picking up an egg for a Centaur. I landed on a boulder in The Abiding Bone-yard, careful not to touch the waste. I swore to myself I am never coming back to this place again, I don't care what favor you did for me, it's not worth the creepiness. I know Mirror Dragons practically run this place and I needed to act fast, needed to rest fast so I can get back into the hazy sky.
A Serthis called for me from afar, I knew he had the egg. He gave it to me, once I proved who I was and assured me it was a Coatl dragon. I nodded and was on my way. I returned to the Centaur's camp and gave them the egg and they were very pleased and happy. Most of them were shocked that I survived, frankly so was I. A week passed when a guard of mine told me there was a problem with the egg I delivered. It was not a Coatl dragon but a Mirror. I reassured the leader that it was no mistake, that's what the Serthis gave me and reassured me it was a Coatl. His hoofs pawed at the ground, he was agitated not with me but with that clan in general.
"Kill it, we can't have foul and deleterious creatures like these in our lands!" He demanded to the camp.
My heart sank to my stomach, I couldn't let that happen. It wasn't the dragons fault he isn't a Coatl. I put up a fight, I wasn't going to let the dragon pay for this. The leader laughed and told me to take it.
"It will grow up to end us all, the blood will be on your hands." He ruffed and trotted away.
I took the little Mirror to my home. He was gray with a purple membrane and a lot bigger than Jade even at the neonatal phase. I named him Nape and he was tough, I will give the leader that, he was a handful. The biggest problem was trying to get him to stop eating, he was always eating. Thanks to the Maren I have plenty of seafood to withstand his appetite. Although he is still learning the 'friends are not food' ordeal. Poor Jade; poor aliens.
