Yahelor
Head Spy

Yahelor was one of the three founding members of the clan. Beginning life as a shy fae, Yahelor soon found that his perchance for hiding and listening made him an excellent spy. However, his bright colors do not help with his intended job, so Yahelor has studied a number of magics in order to learn how to best camouflage himself. With the help of his amphithere friend, Yahelor gathers information on beastclan army movements throughout Dragohome that might threaten clan Dread.

Yahelor has had a number of mates throughout his time at clan Dread, and some believed he would never truly settle down with one dragon. Currently he is with his Istir, a mysterious pearlcatcher. He seems quite devoted to her, but it is yet to be seen if he will fall back on his Casanova ways.

Yahelor wrapped himself around the branch, hiding his bright wings among the upper leaves as to mimic the dancing sunlight, his loyal ringlet amphithere fluttering to his side. Below him were a group of serthis, conversing in a quick series of hisses. Yahelor cocked his head in an attempt to understand them- he had studied the beastclan languages, but was in no means an expert yet- he could only catch every other word.

"Scaled beasts....menace....must move...."

"Move where?" Yahelor pondered. "And will you be a danger?" Yahelor shifted in the tree, trying his best to be quiet, but the serthis were too observant.

"What was that?" one hissed, and looked up towards the tree Yahelor was nestled in. The serthis glared, but Yahelor stayed still and silent- he must trust his camouflage magic now. The serthis continued to stare for a moment more, then turned back to his companion.

"Children...away...hide" The conversation seemed to be coming to an end. The serthis moved on through the jungle, and Yahelor let out a sigh. "No danger today, it seems. Looks like they just want to protect their young. Well can't blame them for that, now can we?" Yahelor glanced down at his snake friend, who stuck out his tongue in response. "All right, let's head home, shall we?" And the two flew off towards the home of clan Dread. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
