Riptide Wavespun is a carefree spirit, whose summery vibes easily spread to those around them. Though they don't have a tendency to be serious (as they leave that to Tsunami), they are a decent leader, and do care greatly for their clanmates.
They will do anything to help their clanmates, from the biggest task to even just being around when just they need someone to talk to. They have a close knit group of dragons in the form of their oldest and most loyal companions, those they met during their travels. Riptide may be the clan's so called 'leader', but more times than not they will look to their friends, their found family, for ideas and support and so on. more tba.. maybe |

When they were leaving their home clan, they didn't originally intend to start their own clan. They simply left, feeling the natural the urge to roam. Their simple roam quickly turned into a small roadtrip, journeying across the different lands, from one side of the ocean to the other. They never stayed long in one place though, just long enough to take in the sights, meet new dragons, and then move on. At one point they stayed near a bayou, met another traveller who called themselves 'Tsunami', (who would later become their closest friend, companion and partner), and left with a new friend to travel alongside. The cycle would continue, they would leave with one more companion everywhere they stayed. Some were fellow travellers who had left their home clans, while others were those who had no place to go, whether they were exiled or had lost everything. Riptide accepted them all into their little travelling group, and the slowly forming clan would grow closer and closer the more they travelled. The group soon made their way through the borders between wind and water, where the sea met the land. They made their way onto long beaches that transitioned into the warm ocean, and they all knew. This was their home. |

Transitioning between constantly moving, to setting up in a stationary location was hard, but they made it work. They set up a temporary camp, resembling the ones they made during their travels and helped them all feel a lot more comfortable, while they worked on their new home. They started small, building the foundations of a small sea-side town they could call their home. Part way through the building they would gain help in the form of an older spiral and his unhatched child, who both quickly became another part of their ever growing family. Soon their town was finished for now, small enough to house their small clan and any travellers who needed a place to rest, but able to be expanded upon in the future. |
