Biography

Name translates to "the black god"; named for the Slavic god of darkness... evil and... grief... Oops.

Chernabog is actually a gentle insomniac who only fights when necessary, but he loves trying to put on the impression that he's a fearsome warrior. Hence the birdskull apparel and shadowscale greaves (which all had to match his gembond!). And the scars were totally necessary, even if they're really just painted on. He tells exaggerated stories to new hatchlings and visitors about this one time in the coliseum, it was just him, his comrades had fallen, and four-- no five enemies jumped out and attacked him! The older dragons just roll their eyes and let him continue since it keeps the babies out of trouble.
