A single dragon pair live in the murky bogs of Sornieth's swamps, their dark green and brown colours camouflaging in with the cypress trees that tower over the still waters. In their nest in the canopy above small cracklings in an egg appear, movement within breaks the shell into two pieces and a small dragons rolls out. The sleepy little dragon stays in it's rolled position for a moment and slowly opens its eyes - taking in it's home for the first time. It lifts it's head to meet a waiting mother's gaze and reveals tiny branches adorned with vibrant blue leaves nestled into the hair. It is dragons from this very nest that are redefining the beauty of the stagnant swamps, with bright spring coloured flowers and leaves growing from their branches they breathe new life into a once forgotten and unused land.

in eerie stagnant waters they sleep,
From the Whispers of the Marsh.

Yet you find silence within these depths,
there are no eerie creatures to be seen,
murky stinking waters lie abandoned,
In the Whispers of the Marsh.

As night beckons bright fireflies appear,
menacing shadows cast ghastly shapes,
a flash of scales with a mossy sheen,
two Creatures united beneath the moon,
They are the Whispers of the Marsh.
