taiyo hails from the astrolodome, and as such, has a natural intuition and desire to learn. he spends as much of his free time as possible (which isn't that much) in his room reading or writing stories. for an actual job, he has to fish with his adoptive family. a few times each season, he has to go down with them to the market to sell their catches and other wares the sea has brought them. he's not fond of it in the slightest, but he's willing to do what needs to be done to support his family.
