Caltrop

After leading from the front and strengthening the clan, Caltrop has become significantly more level-headed and confident than he had in days past. No longer one of the main hunters, the pale male has taken on a position of a more political nature. He has begun to take a more passive role in the clan's direction and is given to directing others and helping the clan run more smoothly on a day-to-day basis. He takes an active role in directing the hunters and assisting with training, and is still very close to Alsace and Gjen while seeing himself as something of a father figure to Thief, the replacement bearer of the marigolds. (She'd never admit it.)

Previously:
Insecure but scrappy; feels guilty for being better partners with his hunting duo than to the other de facto clan head. He doesn't really get what she's thinking and doesn't understand her mellow nature. Terribly protective of his children and loathes the idea of them serving the Stormcatcher, despite the fact that he's happy to suggest interns from the clan population at large. Loyal as hell to Alsace and Gjen, which of course makes him feel like he's not being loyal to Saxifrage, despite her really not seeming to care.
